Section 1. President
a. Shall call, set the agenda, and preside over the meetings of ESG.
b. Shall call, set the agenda, and preside over the meetings of the Council
of Engineering Presidents. c . Shall call, set the agenda, and preside
over the meetings of the membership of the ESG. d. Shall be readily accessible
to students, facult, administration, and faculty members. e. Shall ensure
the ESG's activities include all engineering students and address social, academic,
and service aspects of student life. Section 2. Vice-President
a. Shall assume all duties and powers of the President in his/her absence.
b. Shall assist the President with any projects involving the administration
or faculty members. Section 3. Secretary a.
Shall record and distribute the minutes of all ESG meetings by email.
b. Shall keep a calendar of all ESG and ESG sponsored events. c. Shall
maintain and publicy display all ESG contact information. Section
4. Treasurer a. Shall be responsible for all ESG finances.
b. Shall report the financial status of ESG at each ESG meeting.
c. Shall give a list of all expenditures at the end of each semester.
Section 5. Publicitiy Chair a. Shall be responsible
for publicizing or organizing the distribution of all ESG publicity and information
for ESG events. Publicity includes faculty invitations, the ESG website, and flyers.
Section 6. Class Presidents a. Shall act as a liaison
between their class and the ESG. Section 6.1. Special Duties
of the Senior Class President a. Shall organize the colection of the
Senior Gift Fund. b. Shall be in charge of or facilitate any KEG event.
Section 7. General ESG Duties a. All elected officers
serve a two-semester term the scholastic year following election; however, all
elected officers must serve as non-voting members working alongside current ESG
officers. During the spring term, the newly elected officers will work alongside
the previous officers. b. All ESG officers must attend ESG meetings.
c. All officers or elected ESG board members must be in charge of at least
one substantial event or project during each semester of their term.
